UI Overview & Controls Guide For Zoria: Age of Shattering

UI Overview

Action Points

In Zoria: Age of Shattering, every character receives two Action Points per turn, serving as the strategic currency for each round. The gems displayed at the top of your screen represent these Action Points, initially red and transitioning to gray upon utilization.

These Action Points enable character movement and skill usage. A movement within 0 to 7 meters consumes one Action Point, while a longer distance of 7 to 14 meters depletes both Action Points. Regarding skills, most demand one Action Point, though the more potent ones necessitate both.

Focus Bar

The Focus Bar is positioned beneath your Action Points. It’s essential to maintain a full bar as it’s required for executing special attacks. Replenishing Focus is possible by utilizing specific skills.

Skill Bar

Beneath the Focus Bar lies the Skill Bar, presenting a comprehensive list of your accessible skills and attacks. The character’s level determines the extent of this list, with higher levels expanding the options. It’s crucial to note that each skill comes with distinct prerequisites and cooldown periods.

The backpack displays your inventory, allowing you to use items in battle without consuming Action Points. Therefore, it’s essential to have prepared potions on hand as a precautionary measure.

Effects

Icons beside your characters’ portraits indicate the current effects impacting them. Various effects such as Sunder, Fatigue, Bleeding, or Stunned are displayed. Hover your mouse over an effect to access additional information. Negative effects can be eliminated by consuming a potion, using bandages, taking a rest, or seeking assistance from a Blacksmith.

Speed Up Button

To expedite battles, utilize the Speed Up button located in the top left corner. This allows you to regulate the pace of your opponent’s turns.

Controls

Character movement is facilitated through the WSAD keys on your keyboard, or you can display their destination by left-clicking your mouse. For camera control using the mouse, scrolling allows zooming in and out, while right-clicking rotates the camera.

Keyboard shortcuts include:

  • “M” for Map
  • “I” for Inventory
