Preparing for the Journey
Begin your journey by pressing any button in the menu to initiate a new run. Upon starting, your first task is to interact with your family members. Speak with your dad, mom, and sister twice each to unlock the “We are Family” and “We are Family Twice” achievements. These interactions set the stage for your adventure.
Exploring the Rental House
After interacting with your family, venture outside to touch the fence and car before entering the house. Inside, you’ll meet the Rental Man in the room with the TV. He’ll assign you tasks, including finding specific items scattered throughout the house. Completing these tasks will unlock achievements such as “Incredible Style” and “Curious Bunny,” which requires interacting with all items in the house.
As you explore, be sure to collect the required items: 3 candles (2 in the nightstand at the entrance, 1 under a pillow on the sofa), a wooden stool in the bathroom, 3 crosses (1 in the kitchen, which requires the wooden stool), and 2 small paintings. These items are essential for progressing through the game.
Journey Through the Labyrinth
Upon collecting all required items, a door to the labyrinth will appear at the end of the hallway. Enter it to navigate through the maze. In the mirror maze, focus on finding and collecting 3 crosses. Pay attention to the floor rather than the walls for easier navigation.
Reaching the Ritual Circle
After finding the crosses, another door will spawn, leading you to the ritual circle. Arrive at the ritual circle and place the items in the designated spots on the floor. Interact with the middle of the circle to complete the ritual.
Achievements and Conclusion
Upon completing the game, you’ll unlock various achievements, including “Back home” for finishing your first run, “Short-Term Rental” for completing the game in less than 10 minutes, and “The Rental Girl” for obtaining all other achievements.
