Unlocking All Characters In Nordic Ashes
An instructional manual designed to demonstrate simple methods for acquiring specific characters.
Unlocking Alruna
Complete Niflheim on Hard difficulty with at least one Ice Heart. It’s recommended to play as Amaranth and prioritize leveling up her skill “Emerald Bracelet,” which grants you a green heart every 50 seconds. Green hearts are automatically placed at the end. Therefore, once you have 1-2 ice hearts, focus on building up a buffer of green hearts to protect them.
Unlocking Amaranth
Acquire 2 Full Green Hearts in a Single Round. Simply ensure you possess at least 2 green hearts within one round. Select the character you’re most comfortable with to minimize damage. There are no additional complexities to consider.
Unlocking Blud
Locate his Gravesite. Navigate to the specified level and wave indicated in the character selection screen. Upon arrival, scour the map for Blud’s gravesite, identifiable by a tombstone featuring a red moon. Interact with the gravesite to reveal a question mark.
Unlocking Hafgrim
Defeate “Halvard the Destroyer”. Halvard serves as the second mini-boss encountered in Midgard.
Unlocking Hansi
Defeat 100,000 Enemy Shadows. Simply progress through the game, and once you’ve defeated 100,000 enemies, Hansi will be unlocked.
Unlocking Helga
Attain a Minimum of 8 Hearts in a Single Round. Prioritize acquiring relics that provide red hearts. Whether full or empty, red hearts can be replenished with potions. Additionally, consider collecting blue hearts if an insufficient number of relics are found by the round’s conclusion.
Recommended relics include: Butter Cookie, Brunost, Loaf of Bread, Sea Urchin, Mead, Rib, Salmon, Porridge.
Unlocking M.I.S.S.I.N.G.
To unlock M.I.S.S.I.N.G., follow these steps:
- Enter the shop 7 times without making any purchases.
- In the character selection screen, M.I.S.S.I.N.G.’s name will appear as “???????”. Each visit to the shop without buying anything will remove one “?” from the name.
- Avoid interacting with anything in the shop, including the crystal, and immediately leave the shop. Utilizing Talkor is recommended to retain your gold.
- Some sources suggest that unlocking 7 relics and 7 artifacts in the glossary may also be necessary, although this could not be personally confirmed.
Unlocking Talkor
Gain Talkor’s Trust. To earn Talkor’s favor, shop with him 25 times. You can locate Talkor at the end of each pre-boss room.
Unlocking Thyra
Defeat “The Skavenger King”. This is the initial mini-boss encountered in Midgard.
Unlocking Kaos
Unlock the second mystery in Meet Kaos. To access Kaos, first, you must unlock M.ISSING. Once accomplished, select any character and initiate a standard game mode. After beginning, swiftly input the following sequence: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right.
